Job description:

1. Perform general warehouse operations including receiving, exporting, delivering goods, conducting inventory counts, and checking inventory:

  • Directly participate in warehouse activities such as receiving, discharging, receiving goods.
  • Allocate work to assistants, forklift operators and outsourced workers and supervise them to ensure jobs are being carried out correctly and efficiently.
  • Ensure goods are stored properly according to the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
  • Take physical inventory once a month to cross check with monthly inventory report.
  • Monitor inventory levels to highlight HOD minimums and excesses.

2. Record warehouse transactions and post data to the inventory management system:

  • Ensure warehouse transactions are recorded in a timely and documented manner.
  • Enter data into the inventory management system in a timely manner.

3. Keep the warehouse clean and tidy, complying with all Health and Safety requirements & internal procedures:

  • Ensure good hygiene and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Ensure the orderliness and good organization of the items in the warehouse.

4.Report, raise any non-compliance with HOD, and perform other duties assigned by HOD:

  • Make daily & monthly reports according to the process.
  • Report any non-compliance & irregularities to HOD.
  • Do additional work assigned and directed by HOD.

Job requirements:

  • Male.
  • Age: 25-35
  • University graduate, major in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in international companies.
  • Honest.
  • Organized and on time.
  • High sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication skills and time management skills.
  • Competent with Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Basic knowledge of Warehouse Management Process and Material Control.
  • Understanding of SAP system.
